We have developed this Privacy Statement to explain how AppyBag, as a Data Collector, may collect, retain, process, share and transfer you Personal Data when you visit our website appybag.com and mobile applications (together, the “Sites”) or use our Services.

We collect your personal information when you network with us or use our services, such as when you use our Sites. We also study how visitors use our Sites, to help us improve our services and improve customer experience.
We collect Personal Data about you when you visit our Sites or use our Services, including the following:
when you register to use our Services by establishing an “Account” or you change your account settings. Depending on the Services you choose, we may require you to provide us with your name, postal address, telephone number, email address and identification information to establish an Account.
when you choose to sign-in using your information from a social networking platform, we may collect information about you from the social networking platform, such as your list of friends, “likes,” and interests, as well as your contact information.
when you and other users link to social networking platforms (such as Facebook or Instagram) or you choose to post or share information about us on any of the social networking platforms.
when you use our Services or access our Sites, for example, to place an order, to receive money, to process payments, we collect information about the transaction, as well as other information associated with the transaction such as amount, amount paid for products or services, merchant information, including information about any funding instruments used to complete the transaction.

We will only process the data we collect about you if there is a reason for doing so, and if that reason is permitted under data protection law. AppyBag uses the data it collects for purposes including:
To manage our business needs, such as monitoring, analysing, and improving the Services and the Sites’ performance and functionality;
To operate the Sites and provide the Services, including initiate or receive a payment; authenticate your access to an Account; create an account connection between your Account and a third-party account or platform; and keep your Account and financial information up to date.
To restrict various forms of abuse of the AppyBag services, such as fraudulent activities, denial of service attacks, spamming, unauthorized logins and other actions that violate our Terms & Conditions, or are prohibited by law;
To use cookies and other tracking technologies to provide a targeted display, feature, Service or offer to you and/or to work with other third-parties such as merchants, advertising or analytics companies to provide these personalised services (also called interest-based marketing);
To enable our customer support team to help you with any enquiries or complaints in the most efficient way possible and to provide a positive customer experience;
To use your submitted comments and feedback regarding the Sites and the services, we may use such comments and feedback on the Sites and in any marketing or advertising materials. We will only identify you for this purpose by your first name and the city in which you live; and
To receive push notifications from us through our mobile application, we may send you push notifications relating to the services that you have requested from us and information about our services and offers.
We endeavour to handle your personal data as private and confidential. We would like to bring to your awareness our obligations to disclose data in the following four exceptional cases permitted by law, and the other situations set out below. These are:

While we are dedicated to securing our systems and Services, you are responsible for securing and maintaining the privacy of your password(s) and Account/profile registration information and verifying that the Personal Data we maintain about you is accurate and current. We are not responsible for protecting any Personal Data that we share with a third-party based on an account connection that you have authorised. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will take steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Sites; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Personal data is kept no longer than necessary in order to be able to satisfy the purpose of the processing. Personal data is deleted or anonymized on a regular basis when it is no longer relevant for the purposes for which it has been collected.
The Sites and Services are not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information, including Personal Data, from children or other individuals who are not legally able to use our Sites and Services. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected Personal Data from a child under the age of 18, we will promptly delete it, unless we are legally obligated to retain such data.

This privacy policy only directs AppyBag’s practices for the personal (and other) data that we may obtain about you through any of the Sites. Please be aware that when you use or access any of the Sites, you may be directed to other websites that are beyond our control, and AppyBag is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties or the content of linked websites. We advise you to read the posted privacy policy and terms of use whenever interacting with any third-party website, app, or other offering.
When you visit our Sites, use our Services, or visit a third-party website for which we provide online services, we and our business partners and vendors may use cookies and other tracking technologies (collectively, “Cookies”) to recognise you as a User and to customise your online experiences, the Services you use, and other online content and advertising; measure the effectiveness of promotions and perform analytics; and to mitigate risk, prevent potential fraud, and promote trust and safety across our Sites and Services.
